SgM Electrosoft originally started
in the late nineteen nineties as a slightly different name under which I would release any Atari ST, TT and Falcon software I produced.
In 2003 the first JagFest UK was organised at which I showed a prototype Jaguar analogue joystick interface to other
potentially interested Jaguar owners and having received positive feedback from those who had seen and used this device I investigate
the production and sale of these devices and it was this combination of software
and hardware (with embedded software) production that finally lead to the formation of SgM Electrosoft in October 2004.
Officially I am only developing for the Atari Jaguar however items developed for the Jaguar could also be on an STe or Falcon via their advanced (Jaguar) controller ports and I occasionally dabble in work for the ST and PC.
As an electronic
service engineer who has been active in the Atari scene for many years from
playing arcade games during the nineteen seventies to being an owner and user
of an Atari 2600 VCS, 7800 VCS, ST, Falcon and Jaguar from the late nineteen eighties
onwards I think I have a good background upon which I can draw when producing new hardware solutions for the Atari Jaguar.
Over the years I have written articles for online Atari magazines
and have be both tournament coordinator, webmaster and organizing committee member
for JagFest UK as well as being a forum moderator at Jagfest.org and a member of the STOS Mega Demo project.
