JFUK starts today from around 16:00 for those arriving and setting up early, do not forget to bring your ticket(s).
History:
JFUK or JagFest UK to give it its full name was started in 2003 as a gathering of owners of the Atari Jaguar 64 Bit games system, however by the time the event took place it had expanded to encompass all Atari systems. Even though it was intended as a gathering of Atari owners there has always been a small presence of other system and now we are expanding JFUK to an all systems gaming event with a bias towards older/retro systems.
Where and When?
This years event will be running from the 18th - 20th of September at the Chiltern Hotel in Luton, England.
In a change to previous years this will be a ticket only event and tickets must be purchased in advance by the 1st of September to allow time to mail them to you before the event, don't forget to bring them with you.
About the venue:
The Chiltern Hotel is located just 1 minute from Junction 11 on the M1. It can also be reached from (London) Luton airport by taxi in about 5 minutes and is 1 mile from Leagrave train station which can be reached from the station at the Airport. Both Leagrave and the airport stations are on the London St.Pancreas line.
The hotel serves lunchtime meals from the bar during the day and its own restaurant at night, if you can not find something to your liking from their menu there are several outlets nearby where you can get a quick byte.
For more information on the Chitern hotel see their web site by clicking either of the links above.
